About Us.

Aequor means "smooth seas" in Latin, and that is how we think business - and life - should be. We know it's not always like that, and we also know that there is much we can do to make the journey more comfortable, while still being an exciting ride!

Company Director Craig Bishop-Everett has practical and training experience in all aspects of management, leadership, retail operations, integrated logistics, customer service, FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods). 
In his younger days, he qualified as a butcher and went on to administer a programme of butchery apprenticeships, with hands-on and classroom training.

In the UK, he ran his own landscaping company, owned a catering company and managed hospitality businesses. His experience in starting up and building a small business complements his training experience in helping corporate business become more effective by taking care of business basics first, then building on strengths to go from good to great.

After graduating from the Master of Business Administration programme at Massey University, his subsequent involvement in the programme has helped MBA students get to grips with not only how to study but also the transfer of learning from the theory to practical application in the “real world”.
Craig brings his understanding of “how it really works in business” to his training sessions, delivering an interactive workshop with humour, real life examples, and practice of skills.

 

Director Karen Bishop-Everett has practical and training experience in customer service, retail operations, FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods), stress & time management, relationship effectiveness, self-management, performance management and call centre operations.

Karen’s strengths are in relationship building and effectiveness. In your workplace, this translates to getting the best out of your people, which leads to satisfaction in the workplace and has the flow-on effect of heightened productivity – and you keep your good people.

Karen brings to her interactive workshops her experience, underpinning knowledge, practical examples and effective transfer of workshop discussion to practice in the workplace.
