A comprehensive 3-part programme designed for supervisors, managers and those on your team you’ve identified as having that potential. Interactive workshops with practical components where participants are given specific constructive feedback to improve confidence and skill. Practice of skills takes place between each part of the programme so that learning is embedded into new, effective behaviour.
Part 1: To be able to manage others effectively, we must first manage ourselves effectively, so Part 1 focuses on the participant “managing” themselves – overcoming self-limiting thinking, positive mind-setting, goal-setting and achievement, determining your level of development on a particular goal/task/skill and the tools you can use to get to the next level, stress/time management, personal presentation, confidence-building, communicating effectively.
Part 2: Now that participants are practised in managing themselves effectively, they can start to lead others more effectively. This workshop engages participants in how to effectively lead their team. We discuss leadership and communication styles, cultural differences, memory techniques, problem-solving, team-building, motivation v. inspiration, leading by example. If appropriate to your business, basic accounting principles may also be incorporated into this section. To be able to complete this part of the programme, participants need to be in a role where they have responsibility for at least one other team member.
Part 3: Now that participants are skilled in managing themselves and leading their teams, we bring these together in making a difference to the organisation. In Part 3, participants will examine frontline leadership, matching leadership style with development level of team members, business report-writing, business presentations, and will have embarked on at least one project that will have significant impact on their business.
